Kendrick Lamar Hits The Quan With Terry Crews In "These Walls" Video

Kendrick Lamar is most certainly one of the MCs at the forefront of Hip-Hop culture pushing the boundaries of creativity with his music, lyrics and visuals.

After doing an incredible job on the music video for ‘Alright’, Kendrick Lamar brought director Colin Tilley back for ‘These Walls’, another epic, narrative led video with stunning visuals.

It centres on a wild house party in the projects, which comedian Corey Holcomb tells in retrospect, explaining how Kendrick landed him in prison.

The highlight of the video however is an entirely unexpected cameo from Terry Crews, who appears to be staging a robbery with Kendrick only to end up dancing to iHeart Memphis’ 'Hit The Quan' with K-Dot at a low budget talent show.

Adding a comedic spin to the Bilal and Thundercat-assisted single, Kendrick rounds up Chicago native and Last Comic Standing comedian Corey Holcomb and Everybody Hates Chris actor Terry Crews for a knee-slapping performance. Kendrick has a few chick twerking on him for quite a while as two other girls film it. Eventually he links up with Terry Crews to go and "get their money", but end up crashing a talent show and the pair do a hilarious "Hit The Quan" dance.

The song is taken from Lamar's third studio album called "To Pimp a Butterfly", a 16-song set that Lamar described to Rolling Stone as "honest, fearful and unapologetic".
