Lumia 950/950XL hit pre-order status at B&H Photo

The larger counterpart, Microsoft Lumia 950XL, is being priced at €699.

The Surface Phone will be Microsoft's business flagship smartphone, the one that combines the Windows interface and carries several features of the Windows OS onto a phone.

Windows Phone fans in the U.S. anxious to pre-order either of the two high-end Lumia smartphones will be pleased to know that B&H Photo is now offering them for decent prices. Microsoft Lumia 950 can now be pre-ordered in France for €562.6 ($619 USD), 6% less from its €599 ($660 USD) original price, WMPoweruser reports. Before the discount, Amazon France charged €699 ($770 USD) for the handset.

The new prices for the two smartphones in France are now lower than in other European regions, where they went up for last week.

Moving on to the internal storage capacities of the two phones, both the Lumia 950 and the 950 XL will be offering 32 GB of available space to users, and if that's not enough, people can expand it all the way up to 200 GB by using a microSD card.

It's unclear when exactly Microsoft will open pre-orders for Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL through its online store, but it's worth mentioning that AT&T will be selling the former too.

Being dubbed "Surface Phone", and supposedly being launched towards the end of 2016, the latest rumour out of Redmond is that such a device (or devices) would sport Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 chipset.

The bad news is B&H Photos expects to start shipping the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL no earlier than December 15. As for the 950 XL, it will be sporting the Snapdragon 810 chipset, and will also feature the same amount of RAM, according to Digital Trends. We also remind you that the release date of the Windows 10 Mobile is also in December 2015, so it will most likely happen once these devices will hit the retail stores.
