Jessa Seewald celebrates fall-themed, co-ed baby shower ahead of due date

Sisters Jill Duggar-Dillard (left) and Jessa Duggar-Seewald are still "excited for what the future holds" despite all of the hurt and problems their family is facing.

Unlike any other Duggar family showers before, Jessa and Ben's baby shower has 100 male and female guests, 10 of those were Ben's male friends, Ok!

Jessa Duggar and husband Ben Seewald threw an untraditional baby shower at the Holland Barn in Highfill, Arkansas on October 15, Thursday as the reality TV star's delivery date draws near.

Nancy Daniels, TLC's executive vice president and general manager, also explained how the new series would follow Jessa's experiences in preparing for the birth of her first child as well as Jill's own preparations for her mission work in El Salvador with her husband Derick and son, Israel.

Guests feasted on hot dogs and pumpkin and pecan pies and participated in various games, including a diaper-changing challenge and milk-drinking competition. "So he was definitely excited about this!"

The couple also kept their guests in the dark about the sex of their baby, as they also served both pink lemonade and blue Hawaiian Punch for their friends.

"It was really fun", a family insider told People Magazine. It was good. There was a lot of everybody.

The new TLC documentary starring sisters Jill and Jessa Duggar from the former reality show "19 Kids and Counting" will be called "Jill and Jessa: Counting On", and will have the two girls discussing their pregnancy, new ministry and their brother Josh's past indiscretions. "She's looking the part", the source added. "She's adorable. She didn't gain any weight in her face at all".

"Sitting here dreaming about the moment when we will meet our little one face-to-face... and wondering if our baby will carry more Seewald or Duggar characteristics and features", Jessa Seewald captioned a collage of her baby's sonogram photo next to pictures of her and Ben Seewald as babies. I think that it shouldn't be a taboo subject, that we should be bringing awareness to child sexual abuse and talking about this.
