Cowboys' Randle takes personal time, out with back injury

Joseph Randle is facing discipline for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy. But Randle has been with us going on his third year and we'll take that into consideration as we look at it, 'Let's look at the whole picture and how things have evolved.' It'll be slow, but it'll be patient, relative to just the sensitivity of anybody that's going through some trying times.

Carroll had good words for the 24-year-old footballer, saying that he knows their system, also calling him a versatile player.

The news of a potential suspension surfaced after Randle abruptly left the Cowboys' training facility Wednesday afternoon. Baseball. Football. And now, starter. Regardless of what happens from here, Randle blew probably the best opportunity he may ever get to become a starting running back in the NFL.

McFadden has been announced as the starting running back heading into the match up with the Seattle Seahawks this week and this announcement was not received well for one player in particular.

Don't worry Cowboy fans, the team has McFadden, and they added Christine Michael in the offseason via trade from the Seattle Seahawks.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette left Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys on a stretcher after being involved in a huge collision. Irving Police Public Information Officer James McLellan told that officers arrived at Randle's home to perform the check at 12:41 p.m. CT, but found nothing wrong when they entered the residence. Randle's girlfriend was reportedly at school and there was no indication of any wrong-doing. Joseph Randle reportedly called the police on his own house recently to have it "checked on", and admitted to cops he is feeling "paranoid".

Team officials are "concerned about his personal and mental well-being".

It stems from an incident last February in Wichita. It's the biggest mistake I've ever made in my life. I've never gotten in any kind of trouble in my whole life.

In fact, Randle may not be available for the foreseeable future pending that likely suspension for whatever went down in Wichita.

 

Last October, he was arrested at a Frisco, Texas, mall and charged with shoplifting. Randle was charged with stealing underwear and a tester bottle of cologne - leading to about why he might have snatched those particular items - and eventually accepted deferred adjudication.
