Heroes Reborn 2015 Recap 10/22/15: Season 1 Episode 6 "Game Over"

Noah tortures Harris Prime to give up the location where Renautas and its evil leader Erica Kravin are hiding his old pal Hiro Nakamura.

Miko returns to Evernow to finish her mission.

"Miko (Kiki Sukezane) stays on the course to save her father, but Erica (Rya Khilstedt) takes measures to interfere". Richard reprograms Evernow, causing the fortress to disappear. It's there she runs into Luke, who solid his business and then burned his house to the ground, in an act of contrition for killing all the people with abilities after his son died. Malina tells Luke that together she and Tommy will save the world. Her mysterious package from last week was a photo of Tommy (Robbie Kay), who Luke obviously knows, and thus these two are set off on a joint mission to find him. Prior the series premiere, creator Tim Kring told The Daily Beast. that the original show was a statement on Bush-era politics, which you can tell he was kind of against.

Ren has sneaked into Renautas on his own.

On the last episode, Noah and Quentin targeted Renautas. Hiro is scared to travel back in time because he knows the butterfly effect could stop one event, but set off a disastrous chain reaction in other ways.

Tommy teleports into Emily's bedroom.

Malina starts to use her power at a vending machine until Luke walks by and catches her. She stops.

Carlos is on a rescue mission of his own to find Jose and Father Marcurio. Outside the Eiffel Tower there is an EVO checkpoint. Tommy tries to go through it anyway and the two are surrounded by guards. After more soldiers arrive, they teleport onto a nearby boat. Tommy tells Emily that he is supposed to save the world.

Interestingly enough, it is also shown that Luke Collins (Zachary Levi) might be getting schooled in the aspect of being an evo by Malina (Danika Yarosh), whom he is seen talking on the street side. After saving a copy of the footage, she digs through her mother's office and discovers a copy of Mohinder's manuscript.

Harris leads Noah and Quentin deeper into Renautas's research facility. Miko suddenly materializes in front of them and immediately attacks the three.

Here's where it gets tricky for Miko: Even though her mission is to save Hiro (who has been trapped in Evernow this entire time, so that he can't manipulate time or space), it doesn't seem that she can carry out the task without sacrificing herself. Miko returns to Evernow to clear them a path inside the game.

Luke decides to buy a boat and then fills a backpack with bricks and jumps in the water.

Regardless, Malina quickly whips her powers into action and saves him from drowning and committing suicide. Malina deposits Luke on hard land, leaving him confused as to why he's still alive. He suggests that they get out of there and teleports them both to Paris. Richard explains that Renautas is teleporting supplies into the future, as Erica is starting the world over after the devastation that's about to envelop the planet. She attacks him using her shadow power and is about to kill him, but Noah hits her with a piece of metal.

The good news is that Hiro does get freed from his Evernow prison, and when he meets up with Noah in the present day, it's an awesome reunion between two friends. Ren finally escapes from his container to tell Noah that while they can't save Hiro, Katana Girl can.

On cue, Katana Girl barges into the Eternal Fortress inside the game. Which means this Miko is a creation that originated in the game. Unfortunately, Francesca Eastwood's character opted to end her suffering by killing herself.

Emily tells Tommy that she wants to show him something. Emily says that those superhero books taught people that those with powers have responsibilities and that Tommy shouldn't be afraid of his destiny. Everyone besides Phoebe and the Harris clones hides behind bullet proof glass. Quentin recognizes her and asks, "Phoebe?" Ren gets the chance to tell her that he loves her and she gets all Han Solo on him replying that she knows. Meanwhile, a distraught Phoebe turns her powers on Quentin, explaining that Erica gave her life goal. Were you happy to see Hiro back? As Noah holds Quentin's body, an army of Harris clones and security guards enter the room. For most of this season Heroes Reborn has felt like its been working with one hand tied behind its back, never really living up to its potential. She decapitates the clone and then stabs a large dragon gate, disappearing into a cloud of digital nothingness. Just at the right moment too because Noah has been found by Harris. Everything is frozen except Noah. The episode ends with Hiro materializing out of thin air. Noah warmly walks up to him and puts his arm on his shoulder, welcoming him back to the real world.

In a hotel room, Taylor records a video explaining the truth about Renautas.

Once Taylor arrives at a motel, she loads up her computer and sends a message to a hacktivist group that's apparently fighting to save all the evos and she informs them that her mother isn't who she claims to be and her company definitely isn't doing what is advertised. The comics convince him that he has to save the world. Super convenientl though, Dearing as a vial that will fake the scanners outside the building into thinking Carlos has powers.
